(I-Newswire) Recent research conducted at Fordham University points to the importance and potential benefits of consuming a diet high in nutrients and particularly antioxidants.
Working with a strain of mice prone to age-related blindness, researchers fed one group a normal diet, another group a lutein-rich diet derived naturally from marigolds, and a third group a diet fortified with freeze-dried grapes. Grapes are a rich source of several antioxidants.
